Make a Smilebox postcard

I remembered I hadn't put up any Halloween pictures, so here they are. I am playing catch up with some of my classes. I am working on some of the 30 days to a handmade Christmas, my December calendar, and some festive layouts for the scrapbook room, and some gifts. I hope to reveal some of these by the end of the week. Next Monday be on the lookout for a funny Thanksgiving story wih a layout to go with.

Moving forward

I know I have been a bit MIA here, but we have been preparing for my moms memorial that was held last night. That was the most diffucult thing I have ever been through. The night was so filled with love, by so many people that loved her. The turn out was not surprising and was a testament to the truly amazing person she was. The outpouring of love and support we have recieved from people that cared for her has been very uplifting for our family.

So as we try to move on, tonight my dear friend, husband and I are going to go to see Quantum Solace, I'm not usually a big action film fan, but they have made this night exclusivley a QS movie night. You see this isn't just any movie complex this is the movie experience of all movie experiences! There is a new movie house here in Barrington Hills at the Arboreetum Mall.
