Teacher appreciation!

Here's a couple of ideas for teacher appreciation next week.

How cute is this?

I found this idea here: http://www.skiptomylou.org/   when you go here you can download the leaves for free! Another cute way to do this is a basket of different kinds of apples, or adding homemade apple crisp topping in a cute little jar, and using a checkered  napkin in the basket.

Last year I was the room mom and did this idea for Ella's teacher. My teacher is a VIP day!

I was able to find these at the dollar store. I asked the teacher for a picture, jazzed it up, scanned it and printed it. I arrived at school early and the whole class was wearing them, as if they had a backstage pass on to the VIP teacher event. The teacher also had one on and a VIP sash she wore for the day.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

 Crazy busy around here. Alot of driving the kids to and from.Ella has a recital next week, so the next two weeks is alot of rehersal. I'm really looking forward to her performances. This year she is in 7 numbers, so with a 4 hour recital I will get to see quite a bit of her.

Still working on the shower centerpeices, almost finished, then on to the baby love banner for the fireplace, I can't wait to get started on that.
