an update

I just wantd to say a huge Thank You to all my friends and even old friends who have contacted me to offer your support. I am forever grateful to you for being here to help lift me up.

Mom is home and is as comfortable as possible.She is surrounded by those who love her. The coming days will be diffucult.

I truly have felt the hands of God in the last several days, he has given us a year of gifts with her and the gifts keep on coming. I love you all, Thank you

Since hearing of the news of your mother's passing I think about her alot. Tonight I decided to check out your blog as it has been a few weeks since I have given it a look. I laughed at the point about your friends being jealous of your mom's creativity. There was much to envy about your relationship with your mother and the many talents that she possessed. Because we are such good friends, I have been the benefactor of her creativity in so many ways. I specifically remember the outstanding poster boards she helped me with when I ran for student council. Without your mom I wouldn't even have been noticed. I am always in awe of your creativity and, of course, that comes right from your mom. I have been blessed to have such a wonderful best friend for as long as I can remember and it is your mother's true legacy that her love, compassion, sense of humor and genuine care for people is something I experience from you everyday. My heart breaks for you and your family. I know this is a difficult time.
