Bio & Headshot

Well Hello there! If you've stumbled your way to this blog WELCOME! I'm a widwestern gal who is darn crafty. I love taking all kinds of pictures,  but taking funny ones of myself are my favourite. I am a t.v. and movie addict who can remeber all kinds of movie history, actors names, dates and trivia, however, I cannot seem to remember where I put my purse, keys and sometimes my children!

To learn more about me you can get a backstage tour by clicking on the different links and visiting the bio/headshot area.

One little word...

Some of you may be familiar with the " one little word " concept. What it is is YOU pick a word for the new year that you would like to live your life by. Sort of a anthem, theme, or mantra. I chose two words this year Rise Up. For me that means rising up to all things. Rising up to the fullest potential in my relationships as a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Rising up to overcome obstacles, Rising Up in my faith, Rising up to whatever each day brings. I got the idea for this theme from the Big Picture Scrapbooking class I am taking clalled A life well crafted. Love this class. Each month you are given an audio that is always inspirational( I know Because I have taken Classes by Kolette before)and moving. Then you are also given coordinating scrapbooking projects. You can check it out here and it is not too late to sign up.

You can also just do the audio portion too.

Here is my January clalendar page

It is a little grainy, but I think you get the idea.

Getting my mojo back, into scrapping that is here is my newest layout and one of my all time favs. I took these photos at Universal Studios last summer. I love taking pictures at this backlot location. Last weekend we were watching Behtoven on disney and they filmed the movie at the studios so the kids were so excited to see those same places in the movie that they were at.
