The other night I whipped this up.
I wanted to see what would happen if I let the carving utensils speak to me,
so I free handed it...

Sunday night while I was blogging Brad set us up for carving.
- Polka dot table cloth Check
- newspaper Check
- cute outfits for Ella and I Check Check
- pumpkins washed Check
- Carving utensils ready Check
- Kotex pads and tampons visible in most of the carving pictures Check Check!
Yes, there they are right behind me near the coffee pot.
I can't believe I didn't notice them. I was so excited to carve my Twilight pumpkin I didn't notice the set designer had misplaced a prop.
Well, that's real life for ya.
Did I mention how excited and into this I was?... I nearly stabbed myself to death a number of times on the nifty toothpick stencil holders Brad came up with. I had a heck of a time navigating around those babies.
You all probably know this, but just in case, if you want a better pumpkin picture you have to light several candles inside. I learned that here. Simple, but very effective.
I am definitely on Team Edward.
I know it's a bit cougarlicious, but I cannot help myself.

i am not a twilight fan but TEAM JACOB ALL THE WAY!!! i love the boy who plays jacob, even if he is only 17, and dating taylor swift! :) love the pumpkins though!!
Sorry to admit that I am not a twlight fan. Maybe the books are better than the movie? (why does kristen stewart have her mouth open the whole movie?) anyway...
you pumpkin is FANTASTIC! I'm not that skilled so I just do the triangle eyes and a jagged mouth.
Plus you already scrapbooked this! Sooo cool.
did you print your strips at 5x7 and cut that into 3 strips? I love that photobooth look
