Gratitude
I'm so sorry i wasn't back last night. By the time I finished with the calendar it was dark and the pics would have been worse.
I have so much to be thankful for. I made it through a stormy year, I've come out having learned alot about myself. Some things good some things not so good. This is part of the human experience.
As Ms. "O" would say " When you know better, you do better".
One thing I have learned is who my real friends are. I know it's not how many friends you have, but the character of the ones you've got.
I did my calendar page this month based on just that. Just random pictures from the past year of the people I hold most dear.
I'm leaving a little room for some of this weekends pics too.
The little thing off the bottom is scraps of matching paper to write down the things we are most grateful for each day.
I used the House of 3 gratitude card kit and the magnetic kit.
I'm very excited about the bottom this month. Take a closer look!
As you can see Friday is my birthday, and I do love my birthday!
New Moon opens
Adam Lambert's CD drops! ( always wanted to say that )
And it's Thanksgiving!
I'll be shopping the day after Thanksgiving for the first time in 15 years! That story is a whole nother post.
Time to put up the tree!
Below are the actual cards from the card kit.
I jazzed em up a bit with tickets, tulle, bling, flowers and distressing ink.
and then...
I made this. Meet Grace
Right now I'm supposed to be packing, but I had to make this.
I have decided to name all my little " Convertables " . I have so many ideas in my head I have a headache, seriously!
I will have a little preview for you the week I get back.
Please come back tomorrow I have a cute Farwell and a ...GIVEAWAY!!!!!

Di, I love your calendar! I am so excited that you are coming out to DC to celebrate your birthday with me! I was just looking through some old pictures of us in high school. We should have some fun going through those. I feel grateful to have you for a friend. See you soon,

Happy early birthday to you Diana!! Your work is so inspiring! It makes me want to pull out all my paper crafting supplies and CREATE! I love the note pad at the bottom of the calendar. Such a great reminder to take a minute and really think about all the things we have to be thankful for.
Oh, and I love the idea of naming your pieces! I think that is just f.u.n!!
Have a wonderful trip!
